About This Program
As an IDS major, you will design a more varied degree program relative to your interests that doesn’t necessarily fall within one of our already-established, formal programs. The education and hands-on experiences you receive through these majors will provide the foundation needed for many careers, as well as advancement opportunities.
As a CMU Interdisciplinary Studies major, you will have opportunities to:
